Do Not Allow Others To Influence Your Thoughts

Don't listen to friends when the Friend inside you says 'Do this.'

Mohandas Gandhi

You are unique in this world; there is something special inside you, even if you do not realize that.

I am strongly convinced that independent thinking is needed and suitable for every one of us in career and in life.

That uniqueness inside ourselves it well worth to be cultivated.

To think independently helps you to become more critical of what you see and hear around.

This does not means that you have to live like a hermit! (I perhaps do it sometimes!)

We need to feel connected to others and to exchange ideas with others of course.

I only affirm that we should tend to maintain our specificity while interacting with the rest of the world.

I observed that people who lean always on someone else opinion feel often insecure and seek approval of others.

To tell you the truth you need to build and to improve your self-esteem continuously if you want to think as an independent learner.

Why I say this? Because many people would convince you that their opinion is better than your.

It won't happen tomorrow or next week.

It requires a long time and a certain level of maturity to become more independent.

Another point to consider is that independent thinking implies responsibility.

Sometimes to think independently could procure some risks so you have to be ready to face them.

To think independent also give you a certain power and credibility.

Independent thinking could definitely improve your self-learning and personal development without any side effect.
