The Responsibility of a Self-learner

"Talent without discipline is like an octopus on Roller skates. There's plenty of movement, but you Never know if it's going to be forward, backwards, or Sideways."

H.Jackson Brown, Jr.

Yesterday I was talking about method. Learning method and self-improvement method are on my opinion the same thing.

I also was talking about what are on my opinion the ingredients of a personal method: self-discipline is the first ingredient.

I mean you need a certain level of self-discipline en developing your knowledge.

A first reason for using self-discipline is the necessity to control and even change your negative past opinions, especially about yourself.

Bertrand Russell said: "ideas can be changed by other ideas, not from the wish.

Standard conventions exist in almost all the people: the opinion to be able to face with your decisions and to your own responsibilities and to make to be worth our own independence.

The opinion that there is a 'something' inside of us, which it is not had to allow to be grazed by some unworthiness.

A second reason to use self-discipline as ingredient to build your own method is the responsibility toward yourself and your efforts.

To succeed sometimes you may need to change some opinions and behaviours.

The rational thought has to be joined to a depth sentiment and with an intense desire.

To accomplish this kind of things you need self-discipline and a great attention.

Make you an image of what you would like to be and of that that you would like to have

You have to be confident and presuppose that such things are feasible to rise in you a depth desire for them, thrilling you of it.
